These extremely compact displays with just 40x33mm are 4.8mm flat including backlight. So they are perfect for 19" and handheld applications. Thanks to switchable font size, the displays can be safely read with 6mm font, even from a distance. Even when all 4 lines are used, the 3.2mm character height are more than sufficiently large, even at a distance of more than 1m. The displays offer an integrated SPI and I²C bus interface and are available in 3 versions "black/white", "blue/white" and "reflective". Various, even multicolored backlights in red, green and white can be combined.
