A touch pad is often used as a simple input device to control an external display, e.g. a mouse. However, the external display requires a lot of energy if it only has to show individual measured values. As an extension, a display could be installed behind the touch pad on which important information that can be read at any time can be shown in an energy-saving manner. The DOG series would be ideally suited for this purpose, as its flat and energy-saving technology can be integrated into existing hardware without major conversion work.
