By applying pressure to the outer glass pane, the resistance value changes so that the position can be recognized.
This means that a touch screen panel can be operated by hand as well as with gloves, a pen or similar. Moisture and electromagnetic radiation have no influence. The hardened and anti-reflective front minimizes the risk of scratches.
