Low power displays for battery operation in mobile applications
Due to the exceptionally low power consumption of the EA DOGM128 series, they are particularly suitable for use in mobile, battery-operated low power applications. The external dimensions of the DOG displays are very compact and can therefore be used especially for mobile hand-held devices and other low power applications. Low power displays only require around 150uA (graphic displays from 250uA); they can therefore be used in applications with battery operation. As the white LED illumination provides sufficient light from a current of just 3 mA, it is also ideal for battery-powered applications.
