The quality of a display is largely determined by the front glass. DISPLAY VISIONS offers customised solutions and protection concepts in this area, which are developed in close cooperation with the customer.
For almost 50 years, DISPLAY VISIONS GmbH has been dedicated to the development and production of customised display solutions for demanding industrial applications. With a wide range of ad hoc graphic displays and displays, the specialists from the west of Munich serve a variety of industries - from process automation and mechanical engineering to measurement and medical technology. Particularly in harsh field service environments, displays may also be exposed to heavy physical stress. For this reason, DISPLAY VISIONS also seals its products dustproof and watertight in accordance with the relevant protection classes, as defined in ISO 20653 (DIN EN 60529), if required.
The International Electrotechnical Commission classifies the resistance of electrical equipment to impact and shock loads in its IK impact resistance grades (IEC 62262). This standard describes standardised test methods and protection classes (IK00 to IK10) to assess the suitability of devices for different environmental conditions. DISPLAY VISIONS works closely with customers to develop customised solutions that meet the specific requirements of the area of application, from the choice of materials to the structural design. This ensures that the displays not only fulfil the normative requirements, but also withstand the practical challenges in the field.
Strong sunlight also puts a strain on electronic displays: it not only impairs their readability, but also leads to fading and yellowing in the long term due to its ultraviolet content. In the worst case, even malfunctions can occur. The experts at DISPLAY VISIONS meet this challenge with customised protection concepts that combine high screen brightness for optimum visibility, UV-absorbing adhesives to protect against harmful radiation, special filter films for anti-reflective coating and tempered glass for mechanical protection and thermal stability.
