4.3 inch colour display with SPI connection
High data rates, full-duplex communication, few lines and low latency - these are the advantages of the Serial Peripheral Interface, or SPI for short. This interface is therefore ideal for connecting small displays to microcontrollers. Now, for the first time, an extremely cost-effective 4.3" SPI display is available. The integrated SPI bus can be configured as 3-wire, 4-wire or dual SPI with double the transmission rate as required.
The display has a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels and can display up to 65,535 colours (16 bit). Thanks to IPS technology, it delivers a sharp and high-contrast image even when viewed at an angle or in bright backlighting thanks to an extraordinary 1,100 cd/m².
The operating voltage for the display is 3.3 V and approx. 12 V/60 mA is required for the lighting. The operating temperature may vary between -20° and +70°C.
The article number is EA TFT043-42SINN and the new display is available from €10 (net) from DISPLAY VISIONS. Alternatively, this display is also available with an LVDS interface.
