Modern HMI for every PLC

DISPLAY VISIONS is addressing the market for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with a new series of touch-enabled programming units. The EA HMI type control panels are characterised by their bright displays for an extremely low price. The new HMI Modbus units enable the quick and easy realisation of user interfaces of all kinds.
EA HMI Series displays are available in sizes from 2.8” to 12”. Their high screen brightness of 1,000 cd/m² ensures excellent readability, including in adverse lighting conditions and outdoors.
The focus of the HMI series is on ensuring simple integration into existing systems. With support for the popular Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP communication protocols, the panels are ready to use in no time, and communicate seamlessly with more than 20 popular PLC models - including solutions from Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Finder OPTA, Teknic, Beckhoff and many more.
The free-of-charge HMI designer is available for customers to develop their own user interfaces quickly and easily. That means that there are no additional costs. The WYSIWYG tool allows screen pages to be designed intuitively. After the interface is designed, the Modbus registers are logically linked with the display elements, which means that the corresponding data is automatically shown on the display. DISPLAY VISIONS also offers the creation of customer-specific HMI designs as a service on request.
The displays are configured as slaves or servers and support a large number of data types, including coil, discrete, input and holding. It is also possible to process 32-bit float values for floating point calculations. The display elements, from the text and numbers to the bar graphics and images, can be assigned flexibly to the Modbus registers. Tapping on the touch display is transmitted as a “discrete input” or can directly trigger a change of the screen page.
The EA HMI Series displays are intended for wall or front panel mounting and are a robust solution for industrial and commercial applications.
