Modbus HMI

Modbus as a communication protocol is often used by PLC controllers to transmit process data. It is ideal for communication with an HMI as a display for outputs and inputs. The EA HMIxxx series offers brilliant displays for Modbus in a wide range of sizes. As Modbus/RTU, the HMI communicates via an RS485 interface and as Modbus/TCP via Ethernet (LAN). Data is exchanged bidirectionally via Modbus registers; this means that not only output is possible on the HMI/display but also input via touch panel.
Only 24 V are required for operation, the rest is already integrated in the HMI. Installation is simple and flexible on the wall or in a housing or front panel.
As an HMI, the Modbus display supports communication with over 20 different PLC models, including Siemens S7-200, S7-1200/1500, S7-300/400, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi FX, Beckhoff and many more.
