DISPLAY VISIONS has developed a particularly compact Modbus display module. The module is equipped with a 4.3-inch, bright and easy-to-read display. This makes it ideal for use with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), such as those offered by manufacturers like Siemens, Beckhoff, Panasonic, etc.
The new display module from DISPLAY VISIONS supports the Modbus/TCP and Modbus/RTU communication formats. Accordingly, it is equipped with interfaces for WiFi, LAN and RS485. The brilliant IPS display is characterized by a high brightness of around 1,000 cd/m2 and all-round readability. The new Modbus indicator offers optimum flexibility in terms of power supply - the device can be operated on any DC supply in the voltage range from 5 V to 30 V DC. In a market dominated by products with significantly larger screens (15 inches and more), DISPLAY VISIONS is opening up new possibilities with its Modbus indicator in a wall-mounted housing with a screen diagonal of 4.3 inches, allowing the design of very compact and, above all, cost-effective HMI units. In order to meet the demand for other small displays, the manufacturer has announced that it will also be adding versions with 7-inch screens, for example, to its range.
