Compact displays are required for handheld applications or smaller devices. Displays with dimensions of about 50~70mm are called compact.
ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY offers a variety of such compact modern displays.
As a rule, a compact intelligent display should also be energy-saving. This is where LCD technology comes into its own. The EA DOG series is specially designed for this purpose: compact, flat, energy-saving. Especially when there is little space available and/or battery-operated equipment requires a display, many of our customers choose the EA DOG displays.
What else characterizes a compact intelligent display?
Due to the small dimensions and the resulting small display, a high contrast is essential to maintain legibility. A bright but efficient backlight is also very helpful for reading. If input is required despite the compact dimensions, a mini touch display from the EA uniTFTs series is recommended (see photo above).
A compact modern display can be tested very well with our USB test board EA 9780-USB; very easy and without writing code or creating a layout.
