Our latest TFT display model EA eDIPTFT43-A is a colour display available with 3 different interfaces (RS-232, SPI and I˛C bus) By using an external component (SN75176), it can be connected directly to a RS-485 interface. It is even possible to connect more than one display via RS-485. RS-485 is a bidirectional bus standard suitable for the connection of devices through cables of up to 1200m in length. The display comes with a wide range of integrated character sets and graphic functions and is thus ready for use.

EA offers high quality TFT Displays, RS 485, The display comes with a wide range of integrated character sets and graphic functions

There is no need to install additional software or drivers or embed the display in a software tool, as all functions are integrated directly in the TFT display. You also have the option to store pictures, icons and texts in the built-in flash data memory. When switched on, the TFT display is immediately ready for use. All commands are communicated through RS-485 and stored internally. The RS-485 interface also handles all „touch button" communication between the optional TFT touch panel and the host computer. The TFT panel measures 4.3" and is available with an aluminium faceplate (black anodised). The display is designed for on-board installation. The interface is pinned out (5V level) and can easily be reconfigured (RS-232, "real" ±12V level RS-232, USB or RS-485).
