A resistive touch-panel is pressure sensible. There is a glas and an ITO foil, which changes its resistance by pressure. That is the way you can recognize the position of the pressure.
Because of that technology the use of a resistive touch-panel is possible by dry hands, gloves and of course with a simple pen or something like that. Electromagnetic radiation and humidity is no problem at all. Thanks to the hardened glass panes the danger of scratches is minimized compared to plastic.

Resistive Touch Panel, Displays for industrial, automotive and medical use

For these reasons we, ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY are specialists for multifunctional resistive touch-panels to sell in industrial, automotive and medical use.
Special solutions for the most used display-types are available. The super flat and small chip-on-glass displays of the DOG-Series can be ordered with an optional resistive touch-panel. The simple 4-wire-drive can be solved in a touch-controller, or an micro-controller.
In addition we provide ready-build solutions: in the eDIP-Series the driving and interpretation is integrated in the display. So you can query the resistive touch-panel with simple instructions directly via interfaces like RS-232, SPI or I˛C.
